Celebrate the start of spring at our ‘Taste of Spring’ banquet this May. We’re serving a delicious 6 course tasting menu using the best in seasonal produce. The menu is all gluten free and includes a delicious vegan alternative for each course.

Drinks—bar serving alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on the night

Course 1

Spring chicken broth– a light Malay spiced chicken broth, with spring onions and spinach served with wild garlic and chilli sambal


Spring vegetable broth – a light Malay spiced vegetable broth with spring onions, tofu, mushrooms and spinach with wild garlic and chilli sambal (Vegan)

Course 2

English asparagus – a warm salad of English asparagus, new season peas, parsley and lemon oil (Vegan)

Course 3

Salmon – Poached fillet of salmon with radish, watercress and sorrel oil


Jersey Royals – Baked jersey royal potato, rocket , watercress and radish with sorrel oil

Course 4

Lamb – sharing platter of spring lamb comprising roast rump, braised shoulder and lamb kofte


Aubergine – Aubergine, chick pea and marrow tagine

All served with flat bread, tabbouleh and a cucumber, baby gem and radish salad with a mint and chilli dressing

Course 5

Gin – Loxley gin and elderflower granita (Vegan)

Course 6

Rhubarb – Rhubarb and cardamom jelly, English strawberries with orange sorbet (vegan)
