Celebrate the life and legacy of St Valentine at Blend this February with a lavish 3 course Roman feast. The event is ideal for couples, groups of friends and people on their own and will take inspiration from the original festival organised by the Romans to commemorate St Valentine.
Valentine was killed by Emperor Claudius 2nd after he illegally married couples, following Claudius ban on marriage. Following his death, local communities organised a festival in mid-February to commemorate his death and declare their love for others.
