We’ve got 2 great menus available at Blend this December. For our ground floor restaurant you can enjoy a 1, 2 or 3 course meal including all your Christmas favourites including prawns, turkey and Christmas pudding. Our ground floor restaurant is suitable  for parties of up to 25 (seated) and  is Available Tuesday to Saturday lunch times and Wednesday to Saturday evenings and will have the following menu;

To Begin

Jamaican Prawn Fritters; with a sweetcorn, roast pepper and spring onion salsa  

Pork Terrine; pressed Whirlow Hall Farm pork with caramelised fennel and apple chutney,  watercress and brioche toast (gt)

Spiced Carrot Soup; carrot, coriander and ginger soup with mustard seed and              spring onion flatbread (vg/gt)

To Follow

Ballotine of Turkey; turkey breast stuffed with a sausage meat, chestnut and cranberry stuffing, pig in blanket, bread sauce and rich red wine gravy (gt/n)

Beef in Bradfield Beer; slow cooked beef brisket, yorkshire pudding with a rich thyme and ‘Farmers Stout’ gravy (gt)

Baked Fillet of Salmon; fillet of salmon ‘en papillote’, swiss chard with a lemon and        chive butter sauce (gf)

Vegan Roast; slow baked butternut squash, pine nuts, cashews, rosemary and thyme loaf, with a roast tomato and basil sauce (vg/gf/n)

All Served With; honey glazed roast parsnips and carrots, buttered sprouts with flaked almonds and herbed duck roasted potatoes (v/n)

White Chocolate Bread & Butter Pudding; layers of panettone with white chocolate, clementine and raspberry, served with a cointreau custard (v)

Banoffee Pavlova; with banana, dark chocolate, vanilla cream and homemade butterscotch sauce (gf/v)

Christmas Pudding; a rich steamed Christmas pudding served with an indulgent homemade brandy sauce (n)

Alternatively for parties of between 20 and 50 you can get exclusive hire of our first floor restaurant. Upstairs we’ll be serving the following menu;

Main Course – £10 per person

South Indian Lamb Curry; slow cooked diced lamb with coconut milk and Southern Indian spices including chilli, mustard seeds, tamarind and curry leaves served with lemon and cardamom rice and chapati’s (gt)

Beef Bourguignon; slow braised chuck steak with baby onions, bacon lardons, button mushrooms and a rich red wine sauce. Served with creamy mash potatoes and         seasonal vegetables (gf)

Stuffed Aubergine (Imam Bayildi); Persian stuffed aubergines with tomatoes, garlic, parsley and chickpeas, served with flatbread and tabbouleh (vg/gt)

Festive Turkey Blanquette; slow cooked chunks of turkey breast with local pork sausage, bacon and button mushrooms in a creamy white wine and sage sauce served with stuffing and herbed duck fat roasties

Beef Chilli; beef slow cooked in a spicy tomato sauce with  infused with chilli, cumin, cinnamon and cayenne served with rice and tortillas
