Blend Kitchen Festive Feasts


There are numerous reasons it’s a wise choice to book into Blend Kitchen this December (great food, friendly and professional service, helping Blend provide employment and training to people faced with challenging life circumstances, etc).

Ultimately though we want to provide a great time for everyone either dining or working at Blend Kitchen this December. For £25 you will get an amazing 3 course meal, using the best in local, seasonal produce in a relaxed environment with some mulled wine and a few cheesy Christmas hits thrown in.

This is also going to be our last month on Pinstone Street as the lease with our landlords (Sheffield Council) currently ends in January meaning this will be the last time you’ll be able to visit us on Pinstone Street. The good news is we have plans in place (more info coming soon) about our relocation and re-opening in early 2020. Your custom over the next few months will enable us to create an amazing new venue serving great food and drink while providing an accessible, inclusive space that brings people from all walks of life together.

This year we’ve also teamed up with the Cathedral Archer Project’s ‘Just Works’ team who will be preparing all our desserts throughout the year (including Christmas). If you’ve not tried the amazing brownie and parkin those guys make, you’ve been missing out.

Tuesday to Saturday throughout December

To begin

Pork belly; soy, ginger and miso glazed pork belly, rice noodles, pickled mooli, spinach and pepper salad (gf)

Calamari; squid rings in a light tempura batter with a basil mayo and a rocket and tomato salad

Roast cauliflower, cumin and coriander soup; a lightly spiced cauliflower soup served with a fresh coriander oil and homemade flat bread wafers (vg)

To follow 

Ballotine of Turkey; breast of turkey glazed with a homemade bourbon bbq glaze, thyme and cranberry stuffing, pig in blanket, red wine and thyme gravy 

Salmon; Tandoori spiced pan fried fillet of salmon, wilted spinach, coconut, ginger and chilli dhal (gf)

Courgette, aubergine, chickpea and pepper tagine; Roast courgette, aubergine and peppers in a spicy tomato sauce flavoured with cumin, sumac and ras-el-hanout (gf/vg)

All served with duck fat mustard seed and chilli roast potatoes, wilted greens with garlic and rosemary butter, roast maple and cumin glazed carrots and parsnips (vegan alternatives available)

To end

Christmas pudding; a rich christmas pudding flavoured with nutmeg, cinnamon and clove served with rum sauce 

Chocolate brownie; a rich dark chocolate brownie served with a cardamom and cointreau creme anglaise 

Yorkshire Parkin; home made yorkshire parkin, caramelised bananas, toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream

£25 per person / ½ price, ½ size child portions also available

£10 deposit per person to secure booking refundable up until 1 month prior to dining and non refundable there after
