Thursday ‘A Taste Of’ evenings. 

2 courses with a selected drink =  £10 / 3 courses with a selected drink £14 (half price for under 11’s)

Every Thursday from 5pm at Blend Kitchen we host our ‘A Taste Of’ evenings where we serve a delicious 2 or 3 course inspired by the cultures and communities here in Yorkshire. Ranging from South Indian to Italian, A Taste Of is an affordable way to try something you may not have tried before.

Friday and Saturday Evenings

Bread and butter; Cawa Bakery Sourdough with roast garlic, chervil and lemon butter

Poppadoms, chutneys and pickles; cumin spiced poppadoms with a selection of home made chutneys and pickles

Small plates £5 each

Tempura vegetables; green beans, fennel, tenderstem broccoli and heritage carrots in a light tempura batter with Mark’s hot sauce (vg)

Tandoori Chicken; Chicken breast marinated in tandoori masala served with watercress and chilli and fennel jam

Mackerel aloo bonda; fritters of our in house smoked mackerel encased in a lightly spiced mash potato served with rhubarb and ginger chutney (gf)

Thai cured Salmon; salmon cured with kaffir lime, lemongrass and ginger served with thai basil (gf)

Falafel; Red pepper, cumin and sumac falafel, charred cucumber and bbq sauce (vg / gf)

Potato and Spring Onion Latkes; grated potato, spring onion and garlic pancakes with sour cream (V)

Big pots (subject to change) £10

South Indian Lamb Curry; Slow roast shoulder of Whirlow Hall Farm lamb in a coconut, chilli, mustard seed and tamarind sauce with aubergine and spinach (gf)

Green Bean, Cashew Nut and Aubergine Curry;  Green beans and aubergine in a spicy tomato and coconut sauce topped with toasted cashews and fresh coriander (gf / vg / n)                                                           Both served with rice and roti                           

Cheese Menu £3 per cheese

Little mesters / Swaledale goats cheese / Lincolnshire poacher /  Harrogate Blue / Mrs Bell’s Blue Ewes / Bedale Farmhouse / Ribblesdale aged goats gouda

All served with home made chutney and biscuits

Pudding £5

Dark chocolate and cardamom parfait; A rich frozen dark chocolate mousse infused with cardamom with an orange shortbread
